IS THIS THE END?

VISA CASH APP RACING BULLS SACK DANIEL RICCIARDO

On Friday the VCaRB Team announced that they are going to be sacking the honey badger. They will be putting in the kiwi driver, Liam Lawson in the second VCaRB seat from Cota, next race.

This was a really disheartening sight for the whole F1 community as Daniel Ricciardo has the most fans out there arguably. He is loved up and down the grid due to his cheery personality and that big , hearty smile that he always has on his face. His aura off the grid also motivated everyone in the team and brought any team he was in forward and made them progress ahead of they were.

This is not the first time Red Bull group has sacked a driver mid-season. It was done before to Kvyat and Nyck de Vries. Gasly and Kvyat both were replaced mid season from the senior Red Bull team and sent to Toro Rosso. But this time it is not the same as it is one of the most experienced drivers on the grid, Daniel Ricciardo, the 8 time race winner.

Daniel started his F1 journey with the HRT team in 2011 at the British Grand Prix. Due to which he earned a full time racing seat in Toro Rosso (current day VCaRB team) in 2012. Due to his stellar performances he was promoted to the senior Red Bull team in 2014, replacing the retiring Mark Webber. The second he stepped in that car he was a sensation at the race track, a marvel to watch. Sometimes beating or being thereabout his reigning world champion teammate, Sebastian Vettel.

He achieved most of his success with the Red Bull team, taking 7 out of his 8 wins with the Milton Keynes based team. He was a formidable force with the Red Bull team and the Red Bull car under his feet. But all good things come to an end. He parted ways with the team in 2018 due to the unreliable Renault powered engines and tensions rising in the team due to Daniel being made to play second fiddle to Max even after being of the same caliber as Max. In 2019, he went with promising hopes to the Renault team. In 2020, he got the team back to almost the top of the midfield, earning 2 podiums with the team that season. But in 2021, he decided to change boats again and went to the McLaren team. But there is where his troubles started as the car was not suiting his driving style, inspite of this he went on to win the 2021 Italian Grand Prix after Max and Lewis crashed, his last win to this date. After not up to the mark results in 2022, he was removed from the team for 2023 even though he had a contract.

In 2023, he was called in mid season to drive for the Alphatuari team(current day VCaRB team) after they sacked Nyck. From Nyck getting sacked, to this day, he was driving for that team.

What is hurting the fans even more is that he was sacked mid season and was not even allowed to complete the whole season. It even hurt the fans more as he finished dead last in maybe his last grand prix  ever but even though he finished last, he did it in style, taking the FASTEST LAP on the LAST LAP of the Singapore grand prix helping his mate Max Verstappen by taking the point of Lando and denying him his first ever grand slam win.

As they say, "Legends make their Last Lap their Fastest". Daniel Riccardo will be missed by each and everyone who knows him, a true racer at heart and a kinder person off track. DR's SHOEY'S will forever stay the most iconic celebration in F1 ever and will reside in everyone's hearts and be missed by all people who have witnessed it.
A great human being and racer has been lost by the f1 community maybe forever!!!!

Aussie Dominance!!

BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: sportstiger.com  The Aussie continues the Papaya Dominance!! Oscar Piastri takes his second win this season and that too in utter dominance from start to the end.  McLaren have been the car to beat all season long and Oscar has proved it again with taking the win, the pole and even the fastest lap. He was in control of the race front start to end and won by a massive gap of 15.5 seconds.  On the other hand Lando only could play second fiddle to his teammate by finishing the race in P3 under a second behind George Russell who took the second spot on that podium.  Lando had a bad qualifying session and hence had started P6 for the race. To add on to his difficulties he got a 5 second penalty for a false start when he rolled ahead of his pit box before even the 5 lights went out.  Overall Lando had a very eventful race with him making places at the start of the race and climbing to P3 but as the race went he just seemed to lack...

Papayas On Top!

CHINESE GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: theguardian.com Just a chill guy! Oscar Piastri wins the second round of the F1 calendar which makes it 2/2 won for McLaren this season. He led the race from start to end showing how utter dominant the car is with him and Lando being miles ahead of the pack for most of the race.  Lando Norris finished 2nd to complete the 50th 1-2 finish for McLaren as a constructor. But the win was not without some issues. Lando in the closing stage of the race faced an issue, with his brake pedal going long which was quite detrimental which made him lose immense amount of time and at the end he only finished 1.5 seconds ahead of George Russell losing almost 5 seconds to him on the last lap itself.  Overall, McLaren were the fastest car throughout the race, miles ahead of their competition.  Ferrari were the other talking point of the race. Throughout the race they lacked pace with Hamilton not being able to keep up with his teammate who lacked...

THE CROWN JEWEL!!

MONACO GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: motorsport.com LANDO is back!!! Lando Norris has proved all the haters wrong!! He won the Monaco Grand Prix. Norris has shown everyone that he is not playing second fiddle to Oscar, he is here to win the championship. He put out a brilliant lap in qualifying ahead of the Monegasque, Charles Leclerc on his second run on the same tire to take pole. As it is known in Monaco, if a driver gets pole, they are likely to win and that's what happened. There was pressure on him throughout the race by Charles but he was just fast enough to keep Charles behind and win in the end, which is what matters.  Currently  Norris is only 3 points behind Oscar, so there is a possibility that he might lead the championship at the end of the next race. Overall, a very good result  for McLaren with them finishing P1 and P3, taking away 40 points. Honestly, this was the maximum Oscar could do as Charles was just flying throughout the weekend so P3 was th...
