George Russell Dominance!!
George Russell dominated the race from start to end and no one even looked to be close to him throughout the whole race. Just utter dominance to finish 5 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. The Mercedes just seems to be fast at Singapore and produce unexpected performances. The team as a whole somehow found performance out of nowhere. This was evident even by Kimi Antonelli who finished P5 in the race behind the McLarens. He like his teammate displayed brilliant race craft with him making a super risky but a masterclass of a move on Charles Leclerc. Over all this was one of Mercedes' best races after Canada.

Next on to McLaren... they just seem to have lost all the pace they had before the summer break, yes they won the world championship this race but it was all on the laurels of the races before the summer break. They have been in shambles since the summer break, having no pace at all. To aggravate this the team had more problems as Lando collided with Oscar in the start of the race while overtaking him which made Oscar unhappy and as a repercussion he did not even celebrate the constructor title with the team. In the end a bad weekend for McLaren where the maximum the could do was play second fiddle to Max and George.

Red Bull have had the biggest turnover since the summer break where they are always the fastest or the second fastest car on track. It was the same this weekend, just Mercedes extracted pace out of nowhere. In the end all that matters for Red Bull is that Max again closed the gap a bit more to the top in the driver's championship. He finished P2... but on the other hand his teammate Yuki as always slow finished P12 and out of points. Overall, a decent race weekend for Red Bull.

Ferrari, what can be said about them. They were having a good race until they weren't. They had pitted Hamilton onto new softs and he was the fastest man on track, overtook his teammate and oncourse to overtake Kimi Antonelli and then his brakes failed in the final few laps due to which he not only did not overtake Kimi but lost 2 places back to his teammate and Alonso which is just frustrating for him as nothing seems to be going as per him this year. Hamilton in the end finished P8 and Leclerc P6, another terrible weekend for Ferrari where they are constantly losing points to their rivals, Mercedes and Red Bull.

Next on Haas, who are having a better season than they have had these  previous years. Oliver Bearman drover well and scored points for them finishing in P9. He is proving to be an incredible driver, extracting the most out of his car and beating his seasoned teammate, Ocon on multiple occasions like this race where he finished P18. Decent points for Haas at the end of the day.

Aston Martin got a good point haul with Fernando Alonso due to their car suiting the high downforce tracks. On the other hand, Lance was just slow and finished P13. Aston Martin got the points they hoped for but are still significantly behind Williams in the constructor's championship.

As for Williams, even on a track which does not suit them, Carlos somehow got a point for them and rounded up the top 10. As for Albon, he could not do better than P14. Overall, as expected it was not Williams weekend and will do better in the next race weekend.

As for Racing Bulls, somehow this race weekend they fundamentally lacked race pace somewhere and finished P11 and P15 which is something they do not want considering how close the midfield battle for the constructors championship is.

Lastly, Sauber and Alpine, well to say the least they lacked race pace. Sauber finished P17 and P20. As for Alpine, they finished P16 and P19, slow like they have been all season.

In the end, Singapore did not disappoint and produce a good race with some drama and some great overtakes in it.

Next on we head to the second race of the season in the States, Cota. It is a high speed circuit with corners which can be taken at 250km/hr. It produces some brilliant overtaking opportunities and carnage. It is not guaranteed that the pole sitter will win. So will Max win like he has been doing since the summer break or can Mercedes still have the pace in Texas. Who will win, only time will tell....

THE CROWN JEWEL!!

MONACO GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: motorsport.com LANDO is back!!! Lando Norris has proved all the haters wrong!! He won the Monaco Grand Prix. Norris has shown everyone that he is not playing second fiddle to Oscar, he is here to win the championship. He put out a brilliant lap in qualifying ahead of the Monegasque, Charles Leclerc on his second run on the same tire to take pole. As it is known in Monaco, if a driver gets pole, they are likely to win and that's what happened. There was pressure on him throughout the race by Charles but he was just fast enough to keep Charles behind and win in the end, which is what matters.  Currently  Norris is only 3 points behind Oscar, so there is a possibility that he might lead the championship at the end of the next race. Overall, a very good result  for McLaren with them finishing P1 and P3, taking away 40 points. Honestly, this was the maximum Oscar could do as Charles was just flying throughout the weekend so P3 was th...

PURE DOMINANCE!!!

SPANISH GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: outlookindia.com OSCAR PIASTRI WINS IN BARCELONAA!!! After Lando's Monaco win, Oscar Piastri answered back and that too in pure dominance leaving the whole pack behind and in some ways even his own teammate. He was a man on a mission... came into the weekend dominated qualifying, controlled the race and won without even breaking a sweat, the perfect way to answer back on Lando making inroads to his championship lead. In doing so, he has recorded the largest pole margin of the season which was over 2 tenths, just pure skill. Well for Lando, he just had to play second fiddle. He qualified 2nd and well to make things worse Max overtook him at the start but he overtook Max again a few laps later as the McLaren pace was other worldly... but bottling the start and losing the place to Max cost him time to Oscar which overall secured the win for Oscar as only Lando had the pace in the car to challenge him. Even on the safety car restart Lando was not...

NEVER COUNT HIM OUT!

EMILIA-ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: straittimes.com Never count the Dutchman out of it! Max Verstappen won the Emilia- Romagna grand prix in utter finesse and style dominating from turn one to the end of the race. Even though it was the McLaren boy Oscar Piastri who had pole position, Max Verstappen swooped around the outside of him into the lead of the race in turn 1 and after that he was never to be seen, continuing to march on his way to victory.  The McLaren boys were unlucky also as the VSC and the actual safety car both went against them, giving Max a even larger advantage. In the closing stages of the race Oscar was P2 behind Max and Lando was P3 behind Oscar, but the situation was such that Lando was on fresh tires and Oscar on 20 lap old ones, yet Lando was not let by. In the end, Max got an easy win but the fans got to see a spectacular battle between the papaya boys in which no doubt Lando came out on top with the given tyre advantage. Overall, good resul...
