MAX IS ON THE HUNT!
Max has now scored as many points as both McLaren's combined since the summer break. He is dominating the field since he has come back from the summer break and did so again in Austin with him leading the race from start to end. He is a dominant force currently and is only 40 points behind the championship leader, Oscar Piastri now. Similarly, for the first time in a long time Yuki Tsunoda seems to have hit the ground running with him finally scoring points in the race with him finishing P7. Overall, a good weekend for Red Bull where they scored some solid points.

As for McLaren, even though they have won the constructor's championship, they are no where near of being assured that they will win the driver's championship with either of their driver. They could only manage P2 and P5 at best and did not even looker much quicker than a Ferrari. Lando barely got the P2 in the end when he made a superb lunge on Charles Leclerc in the closing stages of the race. As for Oscar he just did not have any pace. Overall, it is a tense time at McLaren as both their drivers are under threat from Max Verstappen.

For Ferrari, they have just been doing better race on race since the summer break. This race too they managed to get P3 and P4 which is a very good result for them considering their previous run of form. Charles Leclerc put up a masterclass of defense where he did not let Lando in a faster car progress past him and held him up till the ending stages of the race. As for Lewis he was having a lonely race until in the end he got a puncture in his tire due to which he was almost overtaken by Oscar. Overall, a good weekend for Ferrari. They would like to build forward with this momentum.

As for Mercedes not a good weekend at all, with George Russell finishing in P6, doing the most he could. On the other hand, Kimi was not even in the points, finishing in P13 due to collision with Carlos. Not a good weekend for Mercedes, one they would like to forget.

Next on, Kick Sauber... Nico Hulkenberg scored his first points since Silverstone. But on the other hand, Gabriel could only finish P18. A decent weekend for Sauber, one they will take some good take aways from.

As for Racing Bulls, they did not do as much as they would have liked. They could only manage P11 and P16 which is not good enough for them considering how close the midfield is this year.

For Haas and Aston Martin it was a decent race with Ollie finishing P9 and Alonso P10, both scoring point for their team. On the other hand, Esteban and Lance could only manage P15 and P12 respectively.

As for Williams, a race to forget. Alex only managed P14 and Carlos did not finish to collision with Kimi at the initial stages of the race.

Lastly, Alpine. They were slow as always managing only P17 and P19.

A good race which brings Max even closer to the championship lead. Can he make the biggest comeback in history of F1? Only time will tell....

THE CROWN JEWEL!!

MONACO GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: motorsport.com LANDO is back!!! Lando Norris has proved all the haters wrong!! He won the Monaco Grand Prix. Norris has shown everyone that he is not playing second fiddle to Oscar, he is here to win the championship. He put out a brilliant lap in qualifying ahead of the Monegasque, Charles Leclerc on his second run on the same tire to take pole. As it is known in Monaco, if a driver gets pole, they are likely to win and that's what happened. There was pressure on him throughout the race by Charles but he was just fast enough to keep Charles behind and win in the end, which is what matters.  Currently  Norris is only 3 points behind Oscar, so there is a possibility that he might lead the championship at the end of the next race. Overall, a very good result  for McLaren with them finishing P1 and P3, taking away 40 points. Honestly, this was the maximum Oscar could do as Charles was just flying throughout the weekend so P3 was th...

PURE DOMINANCE!!!

SPANISH GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: outlookindia.com OSCAR PIASTRI WINS IN BARCELONAA!!! After Lando's Monaco win, Oscar Piastri answered back and that too in pure dominance leaving the whole pack behind and in some ways even his own teammate. He was a man on a mission... came into the weekend dominated qualifying, controlled the race and won without even breaking a sweat, the perfect way to answer back on Lando making inroads to his championship lead. In doing so, he has recorded the largest pole margin of the season which was over 2 tenths, just pure skill. Well for Lando, he just had to play second fiddle. He qualified 2nd and well to make things worse Max overtook him at the start but he overtook Max again a few laps later as the McLaren pace was other worldly... but bottling the start and losing the place to Max cost him time to Oscar which overall secured the win for Oscar as only Lando had the pace in the car to challenge him. Even on the safety car restart Lando was not...

NEVER COUNT HIM OUT!

EMILIA-ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: straittimes.com Never count the Dutchman out of it! Max Verstappen won the Emilia- Romagna grand prix in utter finesse and style dominating from turn one to the end of the race. Even though it was the McLaren boy Oscar Piastri who had pole position, Max Verstappen swooped around the outside of him into the lead of the race in turn 1 and after that he was never to be seen, continuing to march on his way to victory.  The McLaren boys were unlucky also as the VSC and the actual safety car both went against them, giving Max a even larger advantage. In the closing stages of the race Oscar was P2 behind Max and Lando was P3 behind Oscar, but the situation was such that Lando was on fresh tires and Oscar on 20 lap old ones, yet Lando was not let by. In the end, Max got an easy win but the fans got to see a spectacular battle between the papaya boys in which no doubt Lando came out on top with the given tyre advantage. Overall, good resul...
