Lando is back!!
He drove an utterly dominant race while making no mistakes and finished 10 seconds in front of his next rival in P2 and miles ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri who is even his championship rival. On the other hand, Oscar Piastri seems to have lost his pace since summer break with Max and Lando having made a comeback and homing in points on him race after race. Overall, a decent result for McLaren as a team.
A brilliant week for young Kimi Antonelli to finish P2 in the sprint and the race, a marvel of a drive. He did not put a foot wrong and fended off the likes of Max Verstappen. On the other hand, his teammate George Russell finished P4, a very strong result which fortifies his P4 in the driver championship. One of the better weekends for Mercedes where they were there with the pace of McLaren and ready to challenge the title rivals in this case.
For Red Bull as a team, well again it was just Max performing with him getting the P3, the most he could with his car this weekend. On the other hand, Yuki as always last of all runners, just dreadfully slow. As for Red Bull, it was not the weekend they wanted and would like to come back better next race on.
As for Ferrari, it was again like China and Zandvoort . As for Charles Leclerc, he was caught out due to contact between Antonelli and Piastri, ruining a very good race for him, possibly a podium. As for Lewis, the underbody damage was so severe that he was losing time continuously every lap, so in the end they had to retire him. A terrible weekend for Ferrari who can see the P2 in the championship slipping away.
As for Oliver Bearman, he is on some another level right now with him getting a P6 finish. Just utter brilliant driving from the young brit who is now beating his teammate quite regularly. As for his teammate, Esteban, he was just outside the points in P12. For Haas as a team it was a good weekend, with a good points haul by Ollie.
The racing bulls were the best team in the midfield by far this race with both of them in the points in P7 and P8, scoring well deserved and needed points for the team. Just sublime driving by both Liam and Isack.
Nico Hulkenberg finished in P9 scoring a point after so long for his Sauber team. Whereas, his teammate Gabriel Bortoleto did not finish both the race and sprint in his first ever home grand prix, a sad sight for him and his fans. Sauber will wish to have better weekends as they end the season, where they have made some good improvements.
Pierre Gasly somehow managed to push the Alpine car way beyond its limits and ended in the points, getting a point for that Alpine team after a very long draught of points. As for Franco, his luck was not just there and he could not score points again. Alpine just have been dreadfully slow all season and well they are letting this season go completely now.
As for Williams they did not have luck nor pace and Aston just lacked raw pace. In the end both teams did not bag a single point.
Sao Paolo like always produced a banger of a race and well made Lando inch closer to his championship goal with Max also catching. Next on F1 heads to the sin city, Las Vegas. Who will win... only time will tell...
