LANDO NORRIS IS A WORLD CHAMPION!

Lando Norris secures his first world championship from Max Verstappen by two points and by holding off the attack from Leclerc for P3.
What a season he has had with 408 points, 7 wins, 7 poles and 18 podium finishes. Just a deserved champion, even though he and McLaren have had their off days through the season, they rise victorious to take the drivers championship home.

As for Oscar he drops behind Max in the championship due to him finishing P2 in this race. In all, P3 in the final drivers championship.

As for Max, well he gave it his all to make a comeback and close in on the much faster McLaren car but it just was not enough and anyways as Max had rightly said the McLaren team let him close in, the car itself was not fast enough to close in except for the last 3 rounds. In all, a season he will take lots of learning from.

As for the constructors, Mercedes beat out both Red Bull and Ferrari, Ferrari by a huge margin even though at one point it was in Ferrari's favour and as for Red Bull they could not help it as it was basically a one driver team the whole season.

In terms of the midfield, Williams were miles ahead of their rivals and finished in P5 and for the rest they were quite close with Racing Bulls on 92, Aston on 89, even Alonso tried his hardest in the last race finishing P6, Haas on 79. So all three were really close in the end and yet racing bulls came out on top taking the bigger cash pool.

As for Alpine, miles behind any team with having one of their worst seasons ever and only having a grand total of 22 points.

As for the drivers side of it, Russell had one of his best seasons ever, 2 wins , 2 pole positions and 9 podiums. He came P4 in the championship followed by the Ferrari drivers, Charles leading Lewis and then Antonelli, the Mercedes rookie who was closing in on Hamilton in the championship. Then came the 2 Williams drivers and Alonso to wrap out the top 10. In all, drivers scored good points, except Jack who was thrown out mid season and his mid season replacement Franco, who both finished with 0 points in the championship.

That is a wrap to 2025, one of the best seasons since 2021.

THE CROWN JEWEL!!

MONACO GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: motorsport.com LANDO is back!!! Lando Norris has proved all the haters wrong!! He won the Monaco Grand Prix. Norris has shown everyone that he is not playing second fiddle to Oscar, he is here to win the championship. He put out a brilliant lap in qualifying ahead of the Monegasque, Charles Leclerc on his second run on the same tire to take pole. As it is known in Monaco, if a driver gets pole, they are likely to win and that's what happened. There was pressure on him throughout the race by Charles but he was just fast enough to keep Charles behind and win in the end, which is what matters.  Currently  Norris is only 3 points behind Oscar, so there is a possibility that he might lead the championship at the end of the next race. Overall, a very good result  for McLaren with them finishing P1 and P3, taking away 40 points. Honestly, this was the maximum Oscar could do as Charles was just flying throughout the weekend so P3 was th...

PURE DOMINANCE!!!

SPANISH GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: outlookindia.com OSCAR PIASTRI WINS IN BARCELONAA!!! After Lando's Monaco win, Oscar Piastri answered back and that too in pure dominance leaving the whole pack behind and in some ways even his own teammate. He was a man on a mission... came into the weekend dominated qualifying, controlled the race and won without even breaking a sweat, the perfect way to answer back on Lando making inroads to his championship lead. In doing so, he has recorded the largest pole margin of the season which was over 2 tenths, just pure skill. Well for Lando, he just had to play second fiddle. He qualified 2nd and well to make things worse Max overtook him at the start but he overtook Max again a few laps later as the McLaren pace was other worldly... but bottling the start and losing the place to Max cost him time to Oscar which overall secured the win for Oscar as only Lando had the pace in the car to challenge him. Even on the safety car restart Lando was not...

NEVER COUNT HIM OUT!

EMILIA-ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: straittimes.com Never count the Dutchman out of it! Max Verstappen won the Emilia- Romagna grand prix in utter finesse and style dominating from turn one to the end of the race. Even though it was the McLaren boy Oscar Piastri who had pole position, Max Verstappen swooped around the outside of him into the lead of the race in turn 1 and after that he was never to be seen, continuing to march on his way to victory.  The McLaren boys were unlucky also as the VSC and the actual safety car both went against them, giving Max a even larger advantage. In the closing stages of the race Oscar was P2 behind Max and Lando was P3 behind Oscar, but the situation was such that Lando was on fresh tires and Oscar on 20 lap old ones, yet Lando was not let by. In the end, Max got an easy win but the fans got to see a spectacular battle between the papaya boys in which no doubt Lando came out on top with the given tyre advantage. Overall, good resul...
