THE FLYING DUTCHMAN!

AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit:reuters.com TWO IN A ROW! After the summer break Max has just looked unstoppable and dominant! This time he wins in Baku with a 15 second lead over George Russell in P2. Max has just been best of the rest since the summer break. Even after a tricky qualifying where most of the drivers of the top 4 teams couldn't even make the first 3 rows make was on pole, dominating. He led the race from start to end and was not even challenged by a single person for the whole duration of the race. Just an unstoppable, dominant drive by him.  Similarly, after so long his teammate Yuki Tsunoda was able to score points in a race. Yuki finished P6 in the race which was much needed for him and the team as he was second to last in the driver's championship and had not scored any points since the Dutch grand prix. Overall, it was a terrific weekend for Red Bull in which they looked utterly dominant. It was reminiscent of their 20 23 F1 season. Mercedes pull...

MIGHTY MAX!

ITALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: formula1.com THE DUTCHMAN DOMINATED! AND McLAREN HAD NO ANSWER AT ALL! At the start of the race Max had to give the lead to Lando due to him cutting the turn 1 chicane but within a few laps time Max took the race lead back and never saw back. He dominated from start to end and continually increased his lead lap by lap and Mclaren just did not have the pace to ever catch up to him. He won with ease and took the whole grid by storm with the sudden pace he got over the McLarens. Well for the McLaren team they just did not get the result they expected. They got outpaced by Max and had no strategy, not even the softs in the end to catch up to Max. On top of that the pit stop mayhem during Lando's pit stop caught up more attention. Oscar was given the first pit stop on the condition that Lando will retain P2 and Oscar will be able to cover off Leclerc but the 6 second pit stop for Lando caused the positions to invert after the pits which due to whi...

TWO ENDS OF A COIN!!

DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: reuters.com Oscar wins...but Lando did not even finish!! Oscar secured his 7th win of the season by winning in Zandvoort. At the same time, his main rival for the championship, his teammate Lando Norris did not finish the race due to a mechanical failure in the closing stages of the race. Both had been close throughout the race with Lando being within 2 seconds throughout the whole race but in the end all in vain as he even lost the 18 points he would have got for P2. Now, Oscar has a 34 point championship lead which seems quite the impossible task for Lando considering both the drivers have the same car and are at top form in this season.  At the end of the day, McLaren will be happy that they are still the car to beat and are at top form as a team and with their drivers but will like to review where they went wrong with Lando.  The next big talking point of the race was Ferrari and their miseries. It was Ferrari's worst race of the ...

NOT THIS TIME!

HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: straits.com  This year Lando was not letting the top step go! After giving the win to Oscar last year which marked Oscar's first F1 win, this year Lando was a man on a mission and ready to win at all costs and he did so but his march to P1 was not without difficulties. He qualified P3,behind Charles in the Ferrari and his teammate Oscar, even though he had the pace for pole. The first lap was terrible for Lando with him losing two places to Fernando and George at the start. Futher on, he quickly dispatched Alonso who did not put up a fight against the faster McLaren. On the contrary, it was not the same case again when he reached Russell. No matter what Lando did, he was not able to get past him. At this point, it looked like there was no chance for Lando to win at all. While everyone was going for a two stop strategy, Lando's side of the garage pulled off a hail mary as there was nothing better they could do for Lando and his position...

THE REPLY!!!

BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit: morungexpress.com Oscar came with a reply!! He showed that even though Lando might be making inroads into the championship lead he is still the one leading it  He broke Lando's run of form with an incredible drive! After a terrible start by Lando, Oscar seized the opportunity after Lando had a terrible exit from turn 1 and overtook him at turn 5, after which he was comfortable in the lead from start to end and won. Oscar had also qualified on pole for the sprint race and finished P2 ahead of Lando. On the contrary, Lando had a terrible weekend. He finished behind Oscar in the sprint race and even though he got pole in the race Oscar took the lead from him like a candy and easily won. Lando in the round of pitstops had been given a tire offset with Oscar on the mediums and Lando on the hards which put Lando at a tire advantage to close the gap and pass Oscar, but Lando bottled his opportunities and made 3 major mistakes which made him lose...

LONG OVERDUE!!

BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025 photo credit:motorsportweek.com WHAT A RACE!!! HULK'S FIRST PODIUM IN 15 YEARSS!! Nico Hulkenberg has finally got his first podium in Formula 1 after 239 starts and some relentless efforts. He could not have asked for a better race to achieve his podium... he went from P19 to P3 in changing conditions and kept the likes of Lewis Hamilton behind to get his first podium. It was just sheer brilliance by him to come home and take his maiden podium in formula 1 after getting denied his chance to step on it so many times. It took a long time for him to achieve this but in the end it was always inevitable with the talent he has.  Well Nico Hulkenberg might have taken the spotlight but the actual winners of the race like last week were the papaya rockets. Finishing the race in P1 and P2, they were miles ahead of their competition.  Lando also got his first home grand prix win this season something which he missed out on last year. The win for Lando was o...
